Great American Smokeout

The American Cancer Society is teaming up with Santa Fe College's Center for Student Leadership & Activities and SF's Human Resources department for the Great American Smokeout.

"HR is partnering with Student Life on this initiative to help promote wellness and healthy lifestyles for our employees," said Beverly Polk, benefits coordinator. "It's part of our campus-wide wellness initiatives."

E Breezeway Friday, Nov. 20

Learn ways to break the mental and physical addiction to cigarettes and get free materials and information about community resources to help you quit smoking for good. Come by the E Breezeway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20.

CVT and Respiratory Care Holding Smokeout Event Thursday, Nov. 19

The Cardiovascular Technology program and Respiratory Care will be giving out smoking cessation information and perfroming free pulmonary function testing from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Oak Grove. They'll also be giving out free sandwiches from Subway.
