Fundraiser Features Presentation by Airline Crash Survivor

The SF Andrews Center is presenting "Miracle on the Hudson with Casey Jones" on Friday, Nov. 20 in the Charley E. Johns Conference Center in Starke. This Dollars for Scholars fundraiser is sponsored by the Santa Fe College Foundation.
Jones was one of the passengers US Airways Flight 1549 that crashed into the Hudson River on Jan. 15, 2009. His story is featured in a book to be released Nov. 3: "Miracle on the Hudson: The Survivors of Flight 1549 Tell Their Extraordinary Stories of Courage, Faith and Determination."
Throughout Jones' career in business and technology leadership, he has made over 200 presentations to a wide variety of audiences. As a result of his remarkable experience, he has appeared on local television, Good Morning America, and was featured in an "Assignment America" report on the CBS Evening News. His returning to flying was also chronicled in the St. Petersburg Times by Pulitzer winning journalist, Lane DeGregory.
Tickets
Tickets are now on sale. VIP tickets are $100 and include a social at 6 p.m., photos with Casey Jones and a book signing, dinner and the presentation. Dinner rickets are $50 and include the dinner and Jones' presentation. Books will be available for purchase.
All profits for this event go to the SFC Foundation Scholarship Fund for Bradford County students.
