Ron Tinckham, Coordinator, Biomedical Engineering Technology
Ron writes:
"During summer A, my wife and I spent 10 days in Costa Rica.
"The highlight of our trip was Tortuguero National Park. We stayed at the edge of the park for two days, and went on three boat trips to observe the wildlife in the park.
"We also visited Poas Volcano, took an aerial tram through the rainforest, spent two days in Fortuna near the Arenal Volcano, and two days on the Pacific coast. The trip started and ended in San José.
"Immediately after our return, I had back surgery. The rest of summer A will be spent recuperating.
"I plan to teach during summer B. The day after final exams, we plan to move the Biomedical Engineering Technology program to the new facility in Alachua. Then we have a whole week to get set up for fall.
