2024 Counselor In Training (CIT) Leadership Program

Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Leadership Program at Santa Fe College is once again providing exciting opportunities to teens 15-18 years of age and rising 10th-12th grade students. Have a wonderful summer as a College For Kids CIT and learn to be a leader in our community.
The CIT Leadership Program is a work-oriented program which gives teens the opportunity to assist our College For Kids instructors and staff. Teens are assigned to specific instructors to assist with classroom activities and ensure the smooth running of the program.

on choosing schools/colleges, etc., approx. 1 - 2 hours)
Requirements
- Submit a completed application packet and two personal recommendations by May 10. (Applications MUST BE turned in and completed by this date! Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted!)
- CIT's must commit to all three weeks of CFK 2024 summer camp.
- Selected CIT's must attend mandatory orientation and leadership training on June 7, from 12 - 3pm The training is comprised of leadership training, team building, conflict resolution, a SF Achieve workshop, leadership skills, a safety workshop, and College for Kids policies.
A limited number of CIT's are selected for each session. Fee is $40 for each camp session and will include two program T-shirts. Verification of service hours is provided after successful completion of the program. Accepted students will be notified through email by May 24.
