Dependent life plans through SF are fully insured term life insurance provided by the Standard.

Employees pay a single rate regardless of the number of dependents insured. Your eligible dependents are as follows:
- Your spouse is the person to whom you are legally married.
- Child means your unmarried child from live birth through the end of the calendar year in which your child reached age 25.
A rider to group term life insurance cannot be offered on a stand-alone basis.
FS 627.5575 Dependent life coverage may not exceed 50% of the employee's basic group term life coverage amount.

Flex Spending Accounts (FSA)
Flex Spending Accounts are available at Santa Fe College through Eagles Benefits by Design (aka Custom Benefits Services, Inc.).
Enrolling in an FSA allows SF employees to set aside part of their paychecks into an account before paying income taxes. This can increase an employee's spending power by saving on tax upfront.
