Going Gator
Santa Fe College students now have guaranteed transfer admission into 16 University of Florida Liberal Arts bachelor’s degrees. Qualifying students now have a yes from UF!
Qualifications
To qualify for the Going Gator transfer program, students must earn an Associate in Arts degree with a 2.5 cumulative GPA, successfully complete pre-requisite coursework for select majors and intend to transfer to UF starting in Summer 2025 or later.
Select Majors
The following UF Liberal Arts majors qualify for guaranteed transfer:
- African American Studies
- Astronomy
- Botany
- Classical Studies
- Foreign Languages and Literatures (all specializations)
- Geography (including Environmental Geosciences)
- Geology (including Environmental Geosciences)
- Hispanic and Latin American Languages, Literatures and Linguistics (all specializations within the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies)
- History
- Jewish Studies
- Meteorology
- Philosophy
- Physics
- Religion
- Sustainability Studies
- Women’s Studies
Note: Students who are admitted to UF through the Going Gator program will not be able to change their major after transferring to UF.
