The Santa Fe College Foundation hosts multiple fundraising events, supporting scholarships, program enhancements and special projects events year round.
Your company or family can take advantage of unique sponsorship opportunities to gain invaluable exposure while inspiring education throughout our community. If you are interested in sponsoring or hosting an event, please contact the Foundation office at 352-395-5200 for more information. Sponsorships change depending on the event.

Women of Distinction Luncheon
The 2024 event is scheduled for Tuesday, March 26. Tickets and sponsorships are available online.
The Santa Fe College Women of Distinction and Women of Promise has recognized more than 200 outstanding women in Alachua and Bradford Counties. The award was created by the Women's History Committee at SF in 1987.
In 2014, the Women of Distinction honorees began raising funds to establish the first Woman of Distinction Scholarship fund. The first award was given for the 2015-16 academic year.
The 2022 goal was to complete a fifth scholarship totaling an endowment of $250,000 to support and mentor women in perpetuity. At the 2023 luncheon, Dr. Broadie announced that the scholarship fund-raising goal has been exceeded. He added that over $265,000 has been raised to create scholarships for women in our communities.
A new $250,000 initiative was launched to name the second-floor terrace in Blount Hall at the Blount Center (Gainesville) in honor of the Santa Fe College Women of Distinction and Promise. The initiative includes the funds for a permanent sign listing individual names of all previous honorees.

President's Gala
The President's Gala is an annual celebration for Santa Fe College’s donors, supporters and students who directly benefit from the generosity of others. The President's Gala is scheduled for June 22, 2024, at 6 p.m. in the gym. This event provides valuable support for our college’s mission to make lives better through excellence in teaching and learning, innovative educational programs, student services and community leadership and service.
