Women's Basketball Falls to Hillsborough, 92-77

SF WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Gainesville, FL – The Hillsborough CC Hawks (15-10, 4-3 MFC) were firing on all cylinders on Saturday afternoon against the Santa Fe Saints (9-14, 4-4 MFC) as they pulled away early on and never looked back on route to a 92-77 win.
The Hawks were led by Rachel Reid who sparked the first half run, scoring 16 points in the first 20 minutes, including four three pointers. She finished with a game high 27 points.
Hillsborough built the lead up to as much as 25 in the second half and the Saints never got closer than 13.
Stephanie Ball did what she could, scoring 21 to lead SF. Tori Baggett added 18 points and Jaquasha Sesler had 10.
The Saints will have a week off before returning to the court on Saturday, February 8 at home against Florida State College-Jacksonville at 2:00 PM. The game will be broadcast live on www.ihigh.com/santafesaints
