Little School

Welcome

The Santa Fe College Little School provides a safe, enriching, stimulating and loving learning environment for toddlers and preschool children. In a carefully supervised environment, the SF Little School also serves as an early childhood laboratory site for aspiring teachers of young children. We are conveniently located near the SF Teaching Zoo with easy access.

The school is a service to SF students, staff and faculty, but enrollment is open to the community at large. Students, staff, and faculty maybe eligible for curtesy rates. Students will have priority for enrollment and may be eligible to use financial aid, apply for a child care scholarship or apply for child care assistance through the Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County.

How to Enroll

We enroll new children at the beginning of each major semester (fall, spring, summer) as well as throughout the year when a space becomes available. To inquire about current availability in the class group appropriate for your child’s age, call our office or stop by the Little School.

Next Steps

  1. Accept enrollment offer and pay supply/registration fee to hold the space.
  2. Pick up enrollment packet at the Little School front office.
  3. Schedule and attend an initial parent conference with the Little School Coordinator. This meeting will allow the coordinator to review completed paperwork, learn as much as possible about your family and your child, and introduce you to the Little School environment including your child’s teacher and classroom.

Submit completed enrollment paperwork and copies of your child’s shot record and physical form prior to, or at the time of, your initial parent conference.

Join Our Wait List

If all class spots are full at the time of inquiry, you may request placement on a waitlist. Waitlist cards are available by semester and can be completed up to a year in advance of the semester you wish to enroll.
Once a spot becomes available, you will receive a phone call to accept or decline the offer for enrollment.
