Advisory Committee
Overview
The Blount Center Advisory Committee collaborates with center staff to provide guidance in aligning educational programs at the center with the needs of the local community. The committee makes recommendations and provides key information, materials, resources, and knowledge that will benefit the educational center, center programs, our students, and community-wide organizations. The committee meets twice per academic year, once during the fall semester and once during the spring semester.
Santa Fe College recognizes the importance of community involvement in planning educational program that will prepare students for the local workforce. Advisory Committees assist faculty and staff in developing curriculum and implementing educational programs.
