Plans After Graduation

What are your options after graduation? 

Congratulations! If you are visiting this site it is because you are almost done with completing your degree at Santa Fe College. Please visit the International Center to meet with an ISS advisor to discuss your options after graduation. Below are a few options to consider. 

• Transfer your SEVIS record to another SEVP-approved college or university. 
• Apply for Post-Completion Optional Practical Training (OPT). Students are eligible to apply within 90 days of the Program End Date on their Form I-20. 
• Apply for a second degree if you are planning to stay at Santa Fe College. 
• Return to your home country. F-1 international students receive a 60-day Grace Period after graduation to prepare to depart the United States.
